Last bike day...
The ride today started on the Pucon Ironman 70.3 course. We started a little out side of town to avoid the traffic and the contined past the turnaround fot the bike leg.
The route was beautiful!
The water was crystal clear and we could see the fish swimming in it.
Lunch was at the end of a big climb next to a creek.
Enjoying a little chill time before lunch. I waded in to the water knee deep, it was cold but felt good.
I want to take a minute to say how excellent our experience was with Echo Tours so far. Earnesto, our guide and Orlando, our driver were fantastic! Earnesto is a world class cyclist and was ranked 3rd in the world in 2010 (i cant remember the distance) but holy crap can that guy ride! Jeff and I would be slowly weezing our way up hills and he would blow past us like we were not moving. Complete oppisite of SE Asia where half the guides couldnt keep up. They were great and will be missed.
Tomorrow is a monster travel day. 6 hours on a bus, taxi to airport, 2 hour flight, taxi to bus station, 2 hours by bus... We wont be rolling in to the hotel until after 10 at night. Will probably not get to blog.
I'm sure to have some stories once i get the chance.
